I brought my 6 cylinder Ford-Lehman to Precision for a short block rebuild. The work was to include bearings, cylinder sleeves, bushings, pistons and whatever else was found to be lacking. The job took longer than expected but the final product meets all my expectations.. We had a few bumps along the way which were handled expertly and without finger pointing. I have reinstalled the engine in my boat and though I only have 20 hours on it, I couldn’t be more pleased. It starts effortlessly and runs smoothly without any issues whatsoever..

Mike at the front desk is very kind, knowledgeable, and exhibits clear communication. Their prices are reasonable. We had the head of a motor resurfaced, valve test and a shim. Midas told me I needed my front control arms replaced on my car. With parts and labor they quoted almost 2k. Luckily I knew someone who had gotten work done here before and they quoted me half that! Picked my car up today and it drives perfectly fine with no problems! They got it done in the exact windows of time they quoted me and were so pleasant and forthcoming on information. Will definitely be a returning customer 😁

DO NOT GO HERE. We just lost 6 months of racing, and they ruined our engine. It took 3 months the first time, and we only got 50 miles on the rebuild. The only feedback we got at first was "use better parts" even though they were the ones that order the new pistons. The pistons could barely move off the rods, so stiff and rigid! They are nice guys but I think they've lost the ability to put out a good product. Don't waste your time here. We let them crack it again and take a look, they took zero responsibility and tried to say it was too strong of a clutch. Its a 92 Ford Probe GT with an OEM clutch, the only thing we did was add a lighter spec flywheel which should have been even less load. The wear pattern on the pistons wasn't on the thrust access. The crank was flopping around like a wet noodle for the entire 50 miles she ran. We lost the #4 rod AGAIN, wasted a few grand going up to Road Atlanta as well. Crank shaft is done, and the #2 thurst bearing journal won't seat anymore. What a waste of time and money.

These Guys are the best ever!!! I came to them with my 53 Mercury, the last year of the flat head motor. They pulled it out and rebuilt it to the best of their ability and put it back together. No easy task for anybody! At 500 miles it developed a problem with the water jacket and needed to be pulled back out. They stood tall behind their work and realized the block was not salvageable and I needed to replace the block. So I went on a mission to find a replacement. I found one in Georgia and put it in their hands. They spent countless hours preparing it and then put it back together at no cost to me except for the parts that they could not be reused from the original block. Then put it back in the car, again no charge. Very time consuming to say the least. Yes they had the car a long time so I tried to be patient. I could not be any happier with the process or the final results. I highly recommend Mark and Mike and the whole team for any project you have and know it will be done right. The proof is in the RESULTS!!! I HOPE THIS HELPS THOSE WHO READ THIS...
